Additional Terms & Conditions

Data Protection

• We collect and use personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and booking details in order to manage your booking and communicate with you.
• Your information is kept secure and is only accessed by Lake Isle Retreats and, where necessary, trusted service providers (such as payment providers) who assist in delivering our services.
• We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your information is only used for the purposes of managing your booking and providing our services.
• If you have any questions about your personal data, you may contact us directly.

Force Majeure

• We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including: Natural disasters, Government restrictions, Pandemics or travel disruptions. 
• In such circumstances, while deposits are non-refundable, we will do our best to offer the option to transfer your booking to a future retreat.

Financial Institutions 

Your deposit is handled by various financial institutions, namely the Allied Irish Banks, Ulster Bank, Paypal, Stripe or Revolut. In the unlikely event that these businesses were to go out of business, or some event such that they could not release the funds to us, we would regrettably not have the resources to return your deposit(s) to you.

Vehicles in Car park

• Car owners on our retreats are welcome to leave their vehicles in the car park outside the retreat house. You will be based approximately 5 to 20 metres from your car. Please be aware we can't be responsible for any theft,​ damage, break-ins.... however our rural area is very safe.

Participation & Conduct

• Guests must behave respectfully toward staff or other participants.
• We reserve the right to remove any guest for unsafe or disruptive behaviour without refund.

Accommodation & Stay

• Rooms may be private or shared, depending on your room choice.
• Shared rooms are only allocated to guests who are booking together and already know each other. We do not assign unrelated guests to share a room. 
• Check-in: Between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Friday.
• Check-out: Between 12 noon and 4.00pm - what suits the guest. On some Sundays, another event may take place at the centre from 12.30pm; however guests are still welcome to remain on the premises and use the facilities of Bhakti Cottage. 

Food and Dietary Requirements

• All meals provided are vegetarian.
• Dietary requirements must be communicated in advance. Returning guests are also asked to inform us of any dietary requirements.
• Non-vegetarian food is not permitted on the premises. 

Third-Party Booking Platforms

• Payment made through a third-party platforms are held by them, and any cancellation or refunds before the retreat are subject to their policies. 
• We are not responsible for third-party system errors, outages, or disputes. Note: 99% of our bookings come through our own website.
