  Two Therapies and / or Massages are included in the price package. You are welcome to arrive from 2.30pm on Friday, or later.

In general, all guests have two therapies on Saturday, one in the morning and one in the evening.

You may also choose to book an additional therapy 50-mins therapy on Friday. Cost: €35 or £30

Aromatherapy massage, full-body massage; head, neck and shoulder massage; Sports massage; Indian head massage, reflexology, Reiki, Sound therapy - these therapies are all available. See this page for further details: Therapies





 7.00pm  Tai Chi class with Frances McHugh. Suitable if you've never done Tai Chi before.

 8.10pm  Meditation with Tim McEvitt (a short evening session). Introduction to japa meditation using mantra on sacred wooden beads.

 Option: Live-like-a-Monk experience

 Japa outdoor walking meditation experience using ancient wooden prayer beads. Some guests may prefer to take one of their three therapies during this time.

 11.00am  The same meditation session held at 10.00am is repeated again; therpies held during this time


Depart for the Florencecourt Country estate forest for a 1 hour 30mins walk (the drive there takes 30mins - we do car-sharing so kindly request someone to drive others). Bring your coat and walking boots/shoes or runners/trainers, etc. The walking tracks are all nearly all old gravel tracks (softened wforest walkith fallen leaves). There are a few slightly muddy patches in the wooded areas.

If you prefer not to go on the full walk, you're very welcome to relax and explore the extensive grounds of the stately home at your own pace

After the walk we have a picnic of deliciously prepared treats from Carmen's kitchen



Depart for the Jampa Ling Tibetan Buddhist Shrine room of Jampa LingCentre (We use car-sharing for this so we kindly request some guests on the retreat to drive others).



We will visit the exotic shrine room, join in the meditation at 4.00pm (30mins) and visit the community shop afterwards.

Return to Mandala House



Dinner, followed by evening relaxation and massages & therapies 


 8.30am  Yoga (suitable for beginners or intermediate)





 Free-time or therapies time for massages

 11.00am  Informal optional relax kirtan (chant music)


 Cross over to island on ferry (12.20pm) for temple / island visit. Kirtan sacred songs - Sunday programme with various other visitors and participants. This event takes place every Sunday. 





 (optional) Talk on the Vedic wisdom of ancient India.  Guests may also use this time to relax, chill-out and walk around island, if they wish. Inish Rath Island is a 22-acre wooded island, see image below.



 Take the Sunday Feast lunch in the temple on the island and the return ferry leaves at 3.00pm to return to the mainland
